Hey there! Welcome to Happy Tails Reading! Whether it was an adorable golden retriever that caught your eye or the resources made for students like yours in mind, so glad you stopped by. Come talk reading, phonics, and Orton Gillingham with me with some elements of mom life and golden retriever content thrown in.
I focus on all things related to teaching reading and specifically teaching small group reading intervention based on the science of reading. The golden that is the face of the blog is my real life good boy named "Blitz". He's good company while creating resources and one sweet boy 💙
Fun Facts: Blitz is almost always found next to the door so he can greet people as they come in the house, he loves getting face rubs, and he's very lazy. Although he cannot read himself, he is the best companion to have while reading and is such a gentle giant with kids as they sit and read with him.
